B Sc. Artificial Intelligence
Department of Computer Applications aims at helping students to harvest the benefits of the Information Technology. These days AI is one of the most popular courses which students choose after completing their 12th. B Sc. AI course is perfect for someone who is interested in computers. A sound understanding of mathematical ideas is needed throughout the course, both for potential applications such as scientific computation, and for reasoning meticulously about the specification and behaviour of programs. The course includes Mathematics, Algorithms, English, Programming Languages, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data and much more. The mission of the department is to persistently strive for achieving excellence in the computing disciplines. Practical skills are also developed and the majority of subjects within the course are linked with practical work which contributes marks towards the final examination.
The curriculum lasts three years (Six semesters).
Admission Procedure
Eligibility:
Candidates who have passed (Eligible for Higher Studies)the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or Any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics/Computer Science/Computer Application/Information Technology/Additional Mathematics as one of the subjects with 50% marks are eligible for admissions.
Admission Process
Admission is based on the Centralized Admissions Process (UG) conducted by the Directorate of Admission, Calicut University. Candidates shall submit a separate filled in application form issued by MET’s with copies of relevant certificates at the time of admission in the college.
